My work is inspired by the landscape; I use it to trigger ideas, forms and structures. My paintings are not direct representations but an attempt to represent the feeling of being there; the movement, the elements, the textures and colours.
News
February - I have been busy developing a new series of work inspired by the boundaries and foliage from my walks in Cheshire. It is still work in progress but really please with where its going. I have been interested in the colours and textures from autumn, sandy soils, lichen covered walls; coupled with the intertwining linear structures created by the foliage.
Art Classes
I run Art classes for adults of all abilities and experience. Come and develop your skills in a lovely setting, with a lovely relaxed group of people. There are currently no places on Mondays or Tuesdays but I can add you to a reserve list.
I also deliver day/half day workshops to art groups and societies, please get in touch if you are interested.
