CONTEMPORARY LANDSCAPE PAINTER

My work is inspired by the landscape; I use it to trigger ideas, forms and structures. My paintings are not direct representations but an attempt to represent the feeling of being there; the movement, the elements, the textures and colours.

NEWS

January 2025 is the start of a new phase in my life. I have retired from my teaching position to focus on my painting. Productivity might slow a little as I take the time to develop new ideas but i am looking forward to sharing new work soon!

Workshops

I have stated delivering Art classes for adults of all abilities and experience. Although my 2 classes at Bunbury Mill on Tuesdays are full, I have a reserve list and I am planning a new class possibly on a Monday, so please get in touch if you are interested.

I deliver day/half day workshops to art groups and societies, please get in touch if you are interested.

Exhibitions

I currently have 'In the Shadows" on show at the Grosvenor Museum Open Exhibition, I was delighted to receive a 'highly commended'. The exhibition is excellent and well worth seeing.
